She said they plan to raise their child with a fluid approach to gender and they won’t be imposing any stereotypes.”

The story went on to say the baby’s nursery will be designed in monochromatic shades of grey, whether the couple has a boy or a girl regardless.

I think that a large percentage of the general population don’t understand what “gender fluid” is.



It means they won’t decorate in pink or blue, won’t automatically give dolls or toy trucks, won’t automatically assign traditional gender roles to their child. There is nothing wrong and nothing new in this. I remember it happening in the 1960s and 1970s when I was a child - there just wasn’t any social media to make a big deal out of it.



But I do think monochromatic grey is a stupid choice for a babies room. I’d be choosing many colors, the world is a giant prism of colors and I’d want my child to develope enjoying them.



But hey, I’m not unimaginably rich with an army of staff to carry out my wishes, and I don’t have to live my life in the public spotlight, (thankfully), so I don’t have perspective on their “reality”.

Actualy,I am tired of stories from unsubstantiated sources who actually do not know what they are talking about! Did Harry and Meghan issue this statement? Unless they publicly express their views on child-rearing we don't know how the child will be raised.



Perhaps the couple want to raise a child that accepts the fact that both genders are equal--should have equal opportunities to explore and do many things, not just relegated to males do this, females do this.

If they are sincere about not defining their child with labels, they will also reject any and all formal titles for the tot. If they want the child to be free to decide for himself or herself who and what he or she is, they cannot be saddled with a title. If they refuse titles for the child, they can be taken seriously in this "fluidity" talk. If, however, they insist on a title for the baby, that will demonstrate to the world that they are nothing more than self-important liars and frauds.
