2008-01-22 02:34:37 UTC
people have been calling me spoiled lately and its kinda bothering me. i dont think im spoiled, just more like... well taken care of??
i have a four story house in the country club, 6 bedroom, 7 bathrooms, theatre room and all that good stuff, pool, hottub. you know. the essentials
i tend to shop at abercrombie, hollister, coach, burberry, prada, louis vouitton, white house black market, and victorias secret. i have other houses in hawaii, alaska, washington, and arizona. i drive a bmw z4 in the summer and an infiniti whatever in the winter. my mom drives an escalade and a porsche something. and my step dad drives a mini coupe, and he has a fetish for jeeps. so we have like 3 jeeps.
my mom doesnt work, but my step dad owns his own something. i dont even know what it is
we have our own maids, chefs, gardeners, pet carers?, haha, car washers ect
oh yeah, and to top it all off.. im only seventeen. ive never had a job
what do you think. i really just think i have umm... good luck? ha

......and you are SO full of yourself!

You know, the Kennedys were quite wealthy, but they had the good sense to involve their children in projects that helped others. What a shame your mother hasn't done likewise.

You need to buckle down and get an education. Just because step-daddy is wealthy doesn't mean that the free ride will go on forever. Find something you are interested in and go get an Ivy League education in that subject.

THEN, you will have something to write about other than just bragging about riches that do not belong to you.

yes you're spoiled. i'm surprised you know what kmart is.

you live the life most people dream of, so enjoy it. life sounds pretty easy for you, however- the grass is always greener on the other side.

i never heard of a 17 year old driving a bmw, unless it was hella junky. you have lots of good luck & well taken care of- your mom married a rich guy!

i think you should start saving, because you'll need it when you get older... and you'll wish you saved while you could.

people define spoiled in different ways

some people think of spoiled as being anyone who hasn't had as rough a life as they have, or as least comparably rough

you'd probably fall into that category

other people think of spoiled as being very selfish and inconsiderate and haughty because they grew up with luxury

i'm guessing you don't fall into that category

it's all a matter of definition

edit: i'm sure the person who answered below me has never made a typo.

What do YOU do to deserve all these luxuries?

It sounds like NOTHING.

You don't even know where the money comes from. "My stepdad owns his own something." You don't even know the word for "business" or "company"? Does he make his money legitimately or selling drugs or prostituting women?

I think you are the very definition of "spoiled".

Sorry, honey, but them's the facts.

You are spoiled if you believe you are entitled to these niceties and not just lucky . Your stepfather likely worked hard for these things and generously bestowed them upon you due to the relationship you and your mother have with him. If you consider yourself fortunate for this luxury and not because you were destined to it then you are not spoiled.

Just as long as you know that you are not the person who has the money or earned it. and at any time they could cut you off. I went to school with alot of kids like you and they had a hard lesson when their parents cut them off and they had to shop at Kmarts

The "I" should be "We" sounds like this is your parents' money. And more than likely your step dad's. Be prepared to earn your own living and consider some extra tutoring in spelling, punctuation and grammar. Who knows you may go on to write romance novels.

best of luck to you!

All those privileges, all that money.

Not enough money to educate you well enough to know the difference between 'ect' and 'etc'.

So either not that money after all, or there simply isn't enough money to overcome your stupidity and ignorance.

I don't think anybody really cares which!

no, you are not spoiled. You have what others don't so they are just being envious.
