I mean, does she write back or summat?
It soundss really stupid, but i was just wondering what would happen.
Would it just be thrown in the bin, or recycled or what not?

Perhaps if write rubbish or make insult will end in rubbish bin however Ho think secretary will prepare answer and perhaps Queen sign or will use rubber stamp with name or digital signature.

'You can write to Her Majesty at the following address:

Her Majesty The Queen

Buckingham Palace

London SW1A 1AA

If you wish to write a formal letter, you can open with 'Madam' and close the letter with the form 'I have the honour to be, Madam, Your Majesty's humble and obedient servant'.

This traditional approach is by no means obligatory. You should feel free to write in whatever style you feel comfortable.'

She did have very lots of potential, yet she has been ineffective for over 3 hundred years now. That replaced into Elizabeth 1st. Elizabeth 2nd is the Queen of the united kingdom ( Wales, Scotland, eire, and England) besides by way of fact the British Commonwealth. She isn't the queen of only England that's barely an element of england.

Everyone who writes to the queen gets a reply.

It's doubtful that the Queen actually reads the letter and responds herself, but you'll get a reply nontheless.

Edit: Probably just a pre-written reply. But it's signed by the Queen which is good enough.

I have watched a document online about the life of HM Queen ELizabeth. She says she does like to read letters addressed to her, she says they're personal and likes to know what the people of England have to say first hand. Unfortunately she can not open every single letter sent to her by post so a handful select is opened and she writes back. Those lucky people just get lucky. I think that for the rest of the letters, you just get a letter sent back saying thank you for the letter etc ...

The best letter is personally read to the Queen I believe, and that best letter is replied under the advice of the Queen by her consultants.

Like any popular or famous person, they usually have people who handle all the mail, especially if it's fan mail. Leaders of countries are also unindated with tons of mail asking for favors or photos. The White House in US is always getting invitations to weddings, because they always send a notice saying thank you, but unable to attend, and the newly married couple then have a neat little trivia for their memoirs, a letter from the then president of the US about their wedding.

I'm sure that the Queen of England gets gazillions bits of mail. She is extremely well loved by many of Englanders.

No, very seriously doubt she would see it. But it would still be nice for you to send a letter hopefully praising her or telling her some nice stuff. It doesn't hurt to let them know you like them or like what they're doing. She is an older woman, so she might enjoy getting good mail, as opposed to cranky mail.

But like movie stars or music artists, they rarely will see the mail themselves unless "their people" are directed to bring certain kinds of mail to their attention. Some artists do manage to read much of their own mail, but mostly it's just hard to read thousands of letters and emails daily.

But still, it's fun to write people like that. There's been some fun stories in news such as a young girl of twelve who had thousands of autographs from many stars---political and entertainers. Just said that she was collecting signatures, and she always managed to get them from nearly everyone. But usually, when you ask for something, other than autographed picture, it's hard for celebrities to send stuff out to fans.

I wrote a couple of years ago and Queen Elizabeth wrote back.

I'd describe her handwriting as one of an elderly person, as her penmanship looked like chicken scratch or somewhat like that of a stroke victim. But she was cordial, Some of her message within the letter didn't make sense, but think it was due to her binging on a few liqueurs and perhaps shots of tequila. She invited me over for tea and crumpets during spring break. I had to decline. Her unstable handwriting scared me.

I think you normally get a reply from one of her ladies in waiting. I don't think letters are thrown away, unless they are abusive or something.

My Majesty (the Queen of England) will reply, of course. Or, rather, one will ask a lackey to do it on one's behalf.

I wrote to her last year darling asking if she could possibly see fit to make me a Dame at some stage in the near future. She wrote back and told me to **** off, I can't believe the Queen would use such language

I'm afraid it gets thrown in the bin dear boy.

HM Queen Elizabeth does not have time for such trifling matters.
