What a lovely lady the duchess is. Is she in good health? What is her age and who were her parents? Does she have siblings? Is she close to members of the family into which she was born?

Probably the only member of the Royal family, apart from maybe the Queen, who truly deserves respect.

The Duchess of Kent became very depressed after a miscarriage, many years ago. After some time, she separated from her husband, the Duke of Kent, she stopped using her titles and styles, asking to be known simply as Katherine Kent and converted to the Catholic faith and stepped away from being a senior Royal and indeed the Royal Family.

After some years, she and her husband reconciled and now live together in Kensington Palace. The last I heard about her, was that she was still teaching music.

No they are still married and live together at Kensington Palace . She decided some time ago to step back from public life  following her conversion to Catholicism (although the Duke still assists the Queen) which is why she is no longer in the public eye.

a Beautiful lady who put her duty First

The Duchess of Kent was received into the Catholic Church in 1994. This was a personal decision, and she received the approval of the Queen. As she explained in an interview on BBC, "I do love guidelines and the Catholic Church offers you guidelines. I have always wanted that in my life.

I like to know what's expected of me. I like being told: You shall go to church on Sunday and if you don't you're in for it!" Basil Hume, then Cardinal Archbishop of Westminster and thus spiritual leader of the Catholic Church in England and Wales, warned the Church against triumphalism over the Duchess's conversion.Although the Act of Settlement 1701 means a member of the royal family marrying a Catholic relinquishes their right of succession to the British throne, the Act does not include marriage to an Anglican who subsequently becomes a Catholic.

Therefore, the Duke of Kent did not lose his place in the line of succession to the British throne.

And how are we to know? The Kents do not discuss their private lives with the public. On the official website, the Duke's biography states that he and his wife live at Wren House Kensington Palace, and in Oxfordshire.

The Duchess of Kent, born 22 February 1933, age 88, is the only daughter and fourth child of Sir William Arthington Worsley, 4th Baronet, and his wife, Joyce Morgan Brunner. Joyce Morgan Brunner was the daughter of of Sir John Brunner, 2nd Baronet, and granddaughter of Sir John Brunner, 1st Baronet, the founder of Brunner Mond, which later became Imperial Chemical Industries, or ICI.

Katharine's brothers are  Marcus Worsley, Oliver Worsley, and John Worsley. Marcus died in 2012. Oliver died in 2010. She visited her brothers and they visited her---but this is all private information so we don't know how close they were. And, some of her brothers' children served as attendants during her wedding to the Duke.

She has not always enjoyed the best of health, and has retired from public duties. She has spent retirement from public life as a music teacher. She was teaching music in 2018, but not much has been said about her of late since she is a private person, known as Mrs. Kent to students.

Their marriage seems to have become more distant over time, but that's a mere speculation.  No one really knows, because they don't talk about it publicly. The Duchess is a devout Roman Catholic; she would never seek a divorce.

As for her family life, again, she is a very private person. She doesn't discuss it.

As you already knew.

Why waste time and space this way?  Oh, of course, I forgot: you don't have a life.

I wish people would use their names, I have no idea who these titles refer to. Yes I'm in the UK.
