She already did,Because a royal heir must married a continue line of royal bloodline female in order to be Princess of Wales. This is why Camilla and Kate are not title of Of Wales,or legitimated in the royal house.Diana was monarchy born from the house of Spencer and Sarah Ferguson from Montagu and continue related to monarchy from both parents throughout their bloodline..Both Diana and Sarah were never title curtsy or had peasantry of their mate. But of the Royal house which Kate Middleton and Camilla do not have........Yes,Queen Elizabeth I I can base on the royal marriage to peasant or non royal female mate and George and Charolette are not monarchy heirs because no heir can be of a peasant born .Prince Henry and Prince Andrew are next to fill the succession.....

Firstly: no, she has no right to do that. Charles could only be prevented from becoming King by an Act of Parliament, or by renouncing his rights, or by doing something that disbars him, such as marrying a Catholic.

Secondly, she would never want to do that. She knows perfectly well what a lot of people seem to forget - that the whole principle of monarchy is that the job goes to the person who is next in line, not to the cleverest, prettiest or most popular. If you start picking and choosing whose face fits best, you no longer have a monarchy - you have a life presidency with an insanely small pool of eligible candidates.

No. She does not hold the power to do that. For that to be done, it would take an act of parliament, and the agreement of all the countries of the commonwealth, for the line of succession to be changed in anyway except for birth or death.

And, even if she did have the power, there is nothing to either warrant or suggest that she would do it. Prince Charles has been preparing to be king since he was 9 years old, and has worked long and hard for his country and his mother.

The only feeasable way for to be done would be for charles himself to abdicate himself from his position of Prince of Wales and give up his right to the throne, something he had no intention of doing.

Wow!!! This is the very first time this is ever asked here, honestly, swear to God!!!!

Anyway, She can't - Unless Prince Charles renounces his rights, marries a catholic or becomes a roman catholic himself....

First of all. Prince William is one of Prince Charles' heirs.

And no.

In the line of succession Charles comes next. Only if he abdicates can Prince William take the crown. Or when he dies. Prince William will become King William.

And ignore the comment which says that if Charles changes the nations' religion to Catholic. That is rubbish. That would have been true around 300 hundred years ago. And about marrying a Catholic she was probably referring to the Wallace Simpson incident. The only reason this caused abdication was because she was divorced.

So yeah :)

The succession is not the personal property of the Monarch to pass on. The British Constitution requires that succession passes to the oldest heir, male before female, of the reigning monarch If there is no direct heir, the line passes through brothers or sisters of the Monarch, but excludes anyone who is Catholic or married to a Catholic.

Charles is next in line, and then his sons William and Harry. As soon as William has children, the succession will pass over to his oldest child, and almost certainly, by that time, there will be no preference for male before female, but Catholics will still be excluded!

Not under her own prerogative. She could ask Parliament to pass a bill to do so but apart from that no.

No not at all.Its not in her gift to do that even if she wanted.Prince Charles is the heir to the throne. As soon as the Queen dies trumpeters will proclaim Charles King throughout the kingdom.

1. Not unless Her Majesty commits a filicide.

Line of the Succession to the British Throne is determined by Law; it is not up to one's wishes, even those of the Reigning Monarch.

It would take an Act of the Parliament (of the UK and of all the countries of the Realm) to actually remove someone from from Line of the Succession - and a very, very serious reason would be required for that one.

Prince Charles could only loose his succession rights if:

- He marries a Catholic

- Converts to Catholic religion himself

- Abdicates after becoming a King

- Commits a treason and looses his succession rights by an Act of the Parliament

- Commits a highly serious crime (murder or similar) and is removed from Line of the Succession by an Act of the Parliament

Since all of the options mentioned above are highly unlikely, Prince Charles will become King unless he predeceases the Queen.

2. The day Andrew becomes King would be the day Britain becomes Republic.

Prince Charles may have had his share of controversies and scandals but he's a hard-working man, who has faithfully served our country his whole life. Prince Andrew, on the other hand, didn't get his nicknames (including Randy Andy and Airmiles Andy) for nothing.

I actually shuddered at the thought of having Andrew as a King and Beatrice - as his heir.

3. What makes you think the Queen would ever want or consider disinheriting her first-born son?

Andrew may be Her Majesty's favourite privately, but I think ever she knows that he's not fit to be a King.

Monarchy is about continuity and tradition; it's not a popularity contest!

Mind you, if it were, Charles would have won by a landslide - Andrew isn't exactly very popular, is he?

She can't do either. The line of succession is laid down in law, and she hasn't the power to change it on her own.

Only can that happen by an act of Parliament, and guess what ? Its we COMMONERS who rule the roost on that "baby ".

So in a word NO, ! !

No.

SHE doesn't choose who comes next. It is all done by following the law.

This isn't early Russia, you are talking about, but modern UK.

She can give the crown to anybody she want to but charlie will get it for a short time and then willy will have it.
